Dr. Michael Williams has been a practicing orthodontist in Woodstock since 1997.  He is an active resident of the Woodstock community and is also very involved with numerous dental organizations.

Orthodontics is a specialized branch of dentistry which focuses entirely on diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dental and facial irregularities. This specialized field requires eleven years of upper education. Dr. Williams earned his D.M.D. at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, then completed his hospital dental residency and a three-year residency in orthodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  While at UAB, he also completed additional classes and orthodontic research to earn a master of science degree. Dr. Williams is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of the Georgia Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Williams constantly strives to meet and exceed the standards of his profession by regularly attending study groups and seminars.

Dr. Williams likes to stay very active in his community. He is a past president of the Rotary Club of Woodstock and is very involved with the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce. Williams Orthodontics works closely with local schools through the “Partners in Education” program to educate children about dental health and various other topics. Dr. Williams sponsors several youth athletic teams and community activities and is proud to call Woodstock home.

Dr. Williams and his wife, Ginger, have two sons, Jake and Chase.
